Hello, I’m Megan Merrett. I work in the arts at Creu Cymru on an Arts Council of Wales initiative called hynt, the national access scheme for theatres and arts centres in Wales. I’ve been a parent at Cadoxton Primary School since 2012 and a parent governor for a fair few of those years. It’s been a privilege and delight to play a role in the development of this excellent and innovative school, in particular through community connections and around food,  wellbeing and creativity. I am also the Chair of Victoria Park Community Centre and Cadog’s Corner Development Group which I’ve seen from its beginnings in 2015 to where we are now with a fabulous team of volunteers, the pay as you feel shop, laundry, refill station, Jeanie’s van and so much more. To chair the governors is a real honour and I’m here to support all our pupils and staff, learning and growing together and being our best forever!
